Bio

Salar is an emotive photographer currently based in London, UK.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Salar's photographic career started at an age of seven, as encouraged by his father with a Canon FtB Single Lens Reflex camera. A decade later he purchased his first DSLR, and the rest is history.

World renown for his emotive portraits, Salar has received numerous awards in international competitions, and published widely in diverse books and magazines.

Salar is currently a Master of Arts candidate in International Relations in Victoria, Canada. Upon graduation, Salar will pursue a PhD in Middle Eastern civil society, and subsequently work towards the development of human security in the Middle East.
