I captured this little girl in an adjacent taxi in Kampala. She was calmly staring out of the window, even though her entire environment was filled with constant car honks, chaotic traffic, and generally loud screaming and shouting. These mini-bus look-a-like taxis are very popular among the locals as a preferred form of commute because they are cheap and efficient. In addition, it takes a professional to drive in these streets, as there is no order on the roads; since electricity is down so often, traffic lights are useless; since traffic is so dense, sidewalks/oncoming road is equally game.
